2 dates to block out if you are coming to Ibiza this month:
– Saturday 7 November, when the centre of Ibiza town runs a street party and a race around the walls – and the weekend of 14-15, the busiest of the month.
Around them, the calendar plays out in the northern villages and indoors, with a comedy festival, concerts in churches and €26 set menus in Sant Antoni.
The big clubs have almost all pulled down the shutters and the calendar goes back to the people who live here. Every date below has been cross-checked with the poster or the organiser’s page: at the time of writing (1 November), Santa Gertrudis had not published the full programme for its fiestas, and several events cancelled at the end of October have no new date yet.
Key points
- Sant Carles celebrates its saint on Wednesday 4 November: mass at 12pm, ball pagès at 1.30pm, concerts from 6pm.
- Santa Gertrudis: EiVi Fest wine fair on Saturday 14, patron saint’s day on Monday 16.
- Comedy festival from 5 to 8 November at Can Ventosa (€20 a ticket), closing on the 14th at Cas Serres.
- Restaurat Sant Antoni from 2 November to 8 December: 13 restaurants, €26 menu without drinks.
- Saturday 7: La Verbenita from 12pm to midnight and Cursa Es Baluards at 4.30pm, both on Vara de Rey.
- Weather: yellow rain warning on Tuesday 3 November, from 7am to midnight.

Sant Carles and Santa Gertrudis, the 2 villages celebrating
Sant Carles de Peralta, main day on Wednesday 4 November

The Sant Carles programme runs from 19 October to 5 December, with more than 30 activities, most of them free. The high point falls on a Wednesday: mass at 12pm led by the bishop, procession, ball pagès at 1.30pm on the church square, then Juanjele at 6pm, Endèmics at 8pm and local DJs Little House and Xumi at 10pm.
If you are not here on the 4th, Sunday 22 November repeats the same sequence on a smaller scale: mass at 12pm for the seniors’ club and ball pagès at 12.30pm. On Saturday 28 at 9.30am, a 4-hour walk leaves from Ca n’Andreu des Trull to Cala Mestella and back (minimum age 11).
Worth knowing: the Fira des Calamar, planned for 31 October, has been postponed with no new date because of the national mourning declared after the Urda rail accident (Toledo). The posted programme does not mention this, as it was printed beforehand.
Santa Gertrudis: the wine fair on the 14th, the patron saint on the 16th

The 3rd EiVi Fest takes over Plaça del Parc on Saturday 14 November: children’s workshops from 10am to 3pm, a fair of island wines from 1pm to midnight with Vermut a 45 RPM and food trucks, a Mis Indiespensables concert at 7pm (Spanish rock and pop) and DJ Toni Torres from 9pm. The official listing gives no tasting price.

The feast day, 16 November, falls on a Monday this year. The official Ibiza tourism website lists the fiestas from 7 November to 5 December, marked “date to be confirmed”: solemn mass, procession and ball pagès, plus a big festive market, tastings, concerts, verbenas and children’s workshops. The day-by-day details were not online on 1 November, nor was the date of the Cursa de sa Sobrassada, the village fun run (22 November last year). To put the wines you taste in context, see our guide to Ibiza wines.
The Festa del Vi Pagès in Sant Mateu: don’t look for it in November

I announced it for mid-November at the end of the October calendar, and a local press calendar puts it on 12 November. Yet every edition I could trace falls on a Saturday in December: 13 December 2025, 9 December 2023, 14 December 2019. The 2026 date has not been announced: don’t book anything around it. Free country wine, sobrasada and botifarró at the end of the matances, the traditional pig-killing season: it will have its place in the December calendar.
Saturday 7 November: party and race on Vara de Rey

La Verbenita, cancelled in early October because of bad weather, comes back from 12pm to midnight on Passeig de Vara de Rey and Plaza del Parque. It is its longest format yet: 12 hours of rumba and mestizo music with El Carmona, Mágico Rodríguez, Francisca Valenzuela, El Gordo Romero and El Manolo, a tortilla contest and a vermouth and gildas corner. A party designed for residents, closer to aperitif hour than club night.

The same afternoon, the Cursa Es Baluards leaves from Vara de Rey at 4.30pm: 5.5 km, 2 laps through Portal Nou, the Sant Jaume, Sant Jordi, Sant Bernat and Santa Llúcia bastions and the cathedral square. Entry costs €5 on Elitechip until Thursday 5 at 9pm, in aid of AEMIF. The free children’s races start at 4pm and 4.15pm.
So the 2 events share the same avenue that afternoon. To watch the runners go by, climb the walls of Dalt Vila at around 4.30pm, then come back down to the party. Avoid driving into the centre.
The comedy festival at Can Ventosa, if you understand Spanish

For its 17th edition, the festival takes over the Can Ventosa auditorium for 4 evenings, at €20 a ticket. Everything is in Spanish, with humour deeply rooted in the country’s TV and pop culture: only worth booking if you can follow a conversation without effort.
- Thursday 5, 9pm: “Los Tres Tenores”, with Comandante Lara, Jesús Tapia and Vicente Ruidos.
- Friday 6, 8pm: “Diva de Barrio”, by Isabel Rey, the most musical of the 4.
- Saturday 7, 8pm: “Trilogía”, by Rubén García.
- Sunday 8, 6pm and 8pm: “Perdido en los 80”, by Diego Sánchez.
- Saturday 14, 7pm, at the Cas Serres auditorium: closing night with the Baleares Comedy Club (Dani Morlá, Jaime Gili, José Boto).
Concerts: from free choirs to contemporary flamenco
November is the right month to step inside the island’s churches for something other than a visit: 2 series overlap there, and the most interesting one for a traveller is free.
Trobada de Corals Lina Bufí, free until 15 November

The Consell d’Eivissa brings together 19 choirs for 6 concerts, free until the church is full. 3 dates remain: Sunday 8 at 12pm at the church of Sant Josep, Saturday 14 at 7pm in Sant Joan de Labritja and Sunday 15 at 8pm at the church of Santo Domingo, known as the Convent, in Ibiza town, for the 50th anniversary of the Cor Amics de sa Música. The concert on 31 October in Sant Antoni was suspended. If you look at other calendars, be careful: some give the wrong days of the week for these concerts. I have used the ones on the Consell’s poster.
Ones de Llum, 21 November in Sant Rafel

The idea: a concert accompanied by video mapping projected onto the architecture of the church. On Saturday 21 at 8pm, Pere Navarro (trumpet), Carlos Vesperinas (cello and synthesisers) and Samuel Pérez (piano) play ambient jazz of their own composition. Half the seats can be booked online with Sant Antoni council during the week of the concert, the other half are sold at the box office 1 hour before. The opening concert on 30 October in Sant Mateu was suspended.
Eivissa Clàssica: Renaissance on the 15th, contemporary flamenco on the 29th

The festival has 2 dates left this month, at €8 in advance, €10 at the box office. On Sunday 15 at 12pm, “Basso + Basso” sets violone and archlute in dialogue (Ismael Campanero and Ramiro Morales) in the Sala Capitular. On Sunday 29 at 7pm, at Can Ventosa, “NOMAD” brings together the music of Samuel Pérez, the cantaora Mati Fernández and the illustrator Cristina Reina, who paints live. It is the most unusual date of the series.
Poranguí, 11 November at Teatro Pereyra

Brazilian artist Poranguí builds each concert live using loops (voice, percussion, didgeridoo, flutes), with projections by Ashley Klein. Doors at 7pm, music at 8pm, over-18s only. An evening of its own kind, halfway between concert and ceremony: worth knowing before you go.
Food: sweet potato in Sant Antoni and organic farm visits

The 17th edition of Restaurat Sant Antoni, from 2 November to 8 December, puts the island’s sweet potatoes and potatoes on the menu at 13 restaurants, 11 of them in Sant Antoni, 1 in Santa Agnès and 1 in Sant Mateu. 2 options at €26, drinks not included: the Restaurat menu at lunchtime (starter, main, dessert) and the Degustaurat in the evening, for a minimum of 2 people sharing (3 to 5 dishes and a dessert).
Taking part are Ample 32, Es Rebost de Can Prats, Es Ventall, Grill Sant Antoni, La Josefita, S·Marí Cocina Bar, S’Avaradero, Sa Palmera, Sa Prensa, Ses Casetes, Venezia Pizzeria, Villa Portmany and Zebra Steak & Grill. They do not all serve every day: the event leaflet, on the official website, gives each one’s menus and days.

Another way to eat local: the APAEEF association opens its organic farms to 20 people per visit. El Camino on Saturday 7, Can Fontet on Saturday 28, from 10.30am to 12pm, in Sant Antoni, with a tasting. It is free, with registration on the APAEEF website. The visit on the 7th is part of the 5th Feria Eco, for which I could not find a detailed programme.
3 exhibitions ending in mid-November

“Cel d’Or”, by Stefan Brüggemann, at MACE: last day on 15 November, in the Sala d’Armes in Dalt Vila.

Picarol, 150 years, at Sa Nostra Sala: 66 works by the Ibiza-born cartoonist, free until 14 November (Monday to Friday 10am to 1.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm, Saturday 10.30am to 1.30pm). Talk on Friday 13 at 7pm on Cala d’Or, the urban project he designed in Mallorca.

“ARTE”, by the Multiart Eivissa association (AMAE), at the Jesús cultural centre: 31 island artists from 4 to 20 November, opening on the 4th at 6pm. On weekdays, from 9.30am to 1.30pm and 5pm to 8pm, free entry.

With children, head to the Museu Puget in Dalt Vila instead: from 3 November, labels at their height (from age 3, in Catalan, Spanish and English) get them looking for details in 4 paintings, no registration needed. Until 31 December, the museum also has “I al mar, els somnis”, an exhibition devoted to Hans Grass.
Sport and the outdoors, the real weekend programme

The most fun to watch is the Sant Carles Xtrem, on Saturday 7 at 3.45pm: 6 km over 5 laps of an obstacle course in the Las Dalias car park, fancy dress expected and mud likely. Entry costs €6 on Sportmaniacs until Thursday 5 at 11.59pm.

On Sunday 8, at Platja d’en Bossa, the Ibiza & Formentera Preservation association is running a gincana, a team challenge game, on posidonia. Teams of 2 or 3 with at least one adult, free with registration, starts from 10am to 12.30pm.

The most beautiful one has to be earned: “Alba en sa Talaia”, on Sunday 15 November, a guided walk of medium to high difficulty at sunrise, up the highest point on the island. Meet at 7.15am on the church square in Sant Josep, and aim to arrive 30 minutes early. Register with Ànima Ibiza, no dogs allowed.
The same Sunday at 9.30am, the 11th Sant Carles Trail takes over the paths at the other end of the island.

On Sunday 22 at 10am, a free family bike ride leaves from the church in Santa Gertrudis, no registration, helmet required.

From 27 to 29, the 13th edition of the 3 Días Trail Ultra Ibiza, with a night stage in Dalt Vila on the Friday evening and a Sunday on the Santa Eulària cliffs. Expect streets to be taken over in the centre of Ibiza town.
Hippy markets: Punta Arabí closes, Las Dalias carries on

The Punta Arabí market closed on 28 October, until next season. That leaves Las Dalias, in Sant Carles, in its winter weekend format, more local and quieter. The hours announced for November are Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm: I only found this timetable on an undated calendar, so check before setting off. Its only closed month is January.

On Saturday 7, the car park becomes the Xtrem course from the afternoon: come in the morning. On Sunday 8, Las Dalias also hosts a yoga session from 10am to 12pm (€35, 20 places, book by WhatsApp on +34 651 98 60 62) that runs straight into the Nido party, in the garden and then at the Akasha club.
Clubs: Es Paradis closes on the 7th, Akasha carries on

Es Paradis ends its season on Saturday 7 November, from midnight, in Sant Antoni. The poster announces free entry for residents. Akasha remains one of the few venues running in November, Friday to Sunday, from €15 in advance.
In Formentera: a short calendar and fewer buses

The island runs at a slower pace and the November cultural programme is mainly aimed at families. 2 shows in the L’Illa a Escena series, at the Sala de Cultura, the island’s cinema, at €5: the family play “El viatge de la Nuru” on Saturday 7 and the Batafaluga concert for young audiences on Saturday 21 at 6pm. Tickets go on sale on entradesformentera.cat from the previous Friday. The island’s official calendar does, however, stop the series on 14 November: check the concert on the 21st on the ticket site. The painting exhibition “Frecuencia y vibración” runs from 2 to 14 November. The opening of Gianni’s exhibition, cancelled at the end of October, has not been rescheduled as far as I know.

From 1 November until 30 April, only lines L2 and N6 run. The L2 links La Savina to La Mola via Sant Francesc, Es Pujols, Sant Ferran and Es Caló. The N6 night bus runs on Fridays and Saturdays (11pm from La Mola, midnight from La Savina). Good news if you are hiring a vehicle: blue zone parking is free until 31 March in Sant Francesc, Sant Ferran and Es Pujols, but not in La Savina.

My advice, after more than 10 stays on the island: out of season, plan on having a vehicle. On an October stay at Estany des Peix, I had already hired a car. I also like walking around Sant Francesc in the evening, where you run into plenty of locals. Our article on where to stay in Formentera goes through the villages, though you should check hotel by hotel as many close from November to April. The crossing, meanwhile, continues all year with fewer sailings (see our ferry guide).
Weather: heavy rain from 3 November

The month gets off to a bad start. Aemet has issued a yellow rain warning for Ibiza and Formentera on Tuesday 3 November, from 7am to midnight, with locally heavy showers, sometimes thundery. Minimum temperatures may drop below 10 degrees. Wednesday 4, the day of the Sant Carles fiesta, remains uncertain: follow the official warnings. La Verbenita and the Jornada Payesa in Santa Gertrudis have already been moved this autumn because of the weather: an outdoor date is one to reconfirm the day before.
Outside bad spells, expect 17 to 20 degrees during the day and a sea at around 19-20 degrees that cools quickly (figures from our page on when to go). I have been here in October and swum, but the conditions were not the kindest: a November trip should not be built around the beach. In case of a violent storm, the right reflexes are on our page about floods in Ibiza.
How to plan a trip in November

If you only have one weekend, go for 14-15 November. On Saturday morning, a felt hat demonstration by Antoni Tur Riera at Ca n’Andreu des Trull, in Sant Carles (10am to 1pm, free, limited places, registration from Monday 9 at 8am), the afternoon at EiVi Fest, and choirs in Sant Joan at 7pm if you are in the north. On Sunday, sunrise on sa Talaia for the brave, Basso + Basso at 12pm and the closing Trobada concert at the Convent at 8pm. It is also your last chance for MACE. The weekend of 7-8 suits you better if you want some buzz in Ibiza town and your Spanish is up to the comedy festival.
Stay in Ibiza town or Santa Eulària, which stay lively all year, while Platja d’en Bossa and the West End in Sant Antoni run at a slower pace (see where to stay in Ibiza and our hotel guide). Montesol Experimental, for example, says it stays open all year. As for flights, look early: air links are reduced in winter.

For the villages, a car remains the simple solution (see getting around Ibiza). New this winter: the N3 night bus, on trial since 1 November. On Fridays, Saturdays and the eves of public holidays, it leaves Ibiza town bus station at 10pm, 11.50pm, 1.15am and 2.45am. It serves Santa Gertrudis, Sant Miquel, Port de Sant Miquel, Portinatx, Sant Joan and Sant Llorenç. Portinatx, where I have been several times, can now be reached on a Friday evening without a car. The line runs as a loop: to get back from EiVi Fest without driving, check what time it stops in Santa Gertrudis.

And next: the Vara de Rey Christmas market opens on 28 November and runs until 6 January. Our guide to Christmas and New Year in Ibiza takes over, ahead of the December calendar and its Festa del Vi Pagès, if the date is confirmed.
FAQ
What is on in Ibiza in November 2026?
Sant Carles day on 4 November, the comedy festival from 5 to 8 at Can Ventosa, La Verbenita and the Cursa Es Baluards on the 7th on Vara de Rey, EiVi Fest on the 14th in Santa Gertrudis, the free Trobada de Corals concerts until the 15th and Restaurat in Sant Antoni all month. For walkers, the climb up sa Talaia at sunrise is on the 15th. The month suits villages and walking better than the beach.
Is Ibiza worth visiting in November?
Yes if you are looking for local life, walking and low prices, no if you are coming for the beach or the clubs. Expect 17 to 20 degrees during the day and allow for rainy days: a yellow warning is already in place for 3 November 2026. Many hotels and restaurants close in the seaside resorts, which is why it makes sense to stay in Ibiza town or Santa Eulària.
Are Las Dalias and Punta Arabí open in November?
Las Dalias still runs at weekends, with announced hours of 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, to be checked before you set off. Punta Arabí closed on 28 October for the season.
When is the Festa del Vi Pagès in Sant Mateu in 2026?
The 2026 date had not been announced on 1 November. The editions I could trace fall on a Saturday in December, such as 13 December 2025. A local press calendar says 12 November, with no programme to back it up: better to wait for confirmation from the Sant Mateu residents’ association.
Are there evening buses in Ibiza in winter?
Yes. Since 1 November 2026, the N3 night bus has been running on trial from Ibiza town to Santa Gertrudis, Sant Miquel, Portinatx, Sant Joan and Sant Llorenç, on Fridays, Saturdays and the eves of public holidays, with departures at 10pm, 11.50pm, 1.15am and 2.45am. The 9.30pm departures on lines T6 and A9 remain in place.
How do you get around Formentera in November?
From 1 November to 30 April, only lines L2 (La Savina – La Mola) and N6 (night bus, Friday and Saturday) run. It is best to hire a vehicle: blue zone parking is free until 31 March in Sant Francesc, Sant Ferran and Es Pujols, but not in La Savina.
