Playa d’en Bossa is Ibiza’s longest beach, with 2,700 metres of fine, pale sand. This stretch of coast lies between Ses Salines and Ibiza Town, just 4 kilometres from the centre.
Let me guide you to this must-see destination, where relaxation, water sports and a party atmosphere mix. Whether you are after a day packed with activities or a lively experience at one of the iconic beach clubs, Playa d’en Bossa has something for every holidaymaker.
In winter, Playa d’en Bossa becomes a haven of peace: shops closed, total tranquillity, ideal for walking or sunbathing far from the summer bustle.

Ibiza’s lively beach resort
Playa d’en Bossa is 2,700 metres of fine, pale sand and 40 metres wide, which makes it the biggest beach in Ibiza.
The clear (sea conditions vary with weather and season; the water is clearest in early summer and winter), shallow water makes for pleasant swimming, especially for families with children in some areas. The bottom is mostly sandy, with a few rocky patches. You can choose where to lay your towel: in the lively areas where club parades pass by in colourful costumes handing out party discounts, or towards the ends of the beach, where resident families enjoy a quieter atmosphere.
Sunbeds, parasols, showers and toilets are available all along the beach. Water-sports schools offer jet skis, paddleboards, catamarans and pedal boats.
For food, Nassau Beach Club Ibiza and Beachouse Ibiza are among the well-known places along the shore.
