The experience that awaits you
Wing foiling means a hand-held inflatable wing and a board mounted on a foil that lifts it above the water. This taster lesson from the Whitesand Surf school starts with the basics on land, then moves to the sea with an instructor and a support boat.
The school says it is the only one authorised by the Consell de Formentera for wing foiling at Illetes. The spot lets you ride on the east or west side of the peninsula depending on the wind direction.

A sport that depends on the wind
You need at least 12 knots of wind: check the forecast (the school recommends Windguru) or contact them before booking. Groups of 4 students maximum, helmet, vest and wetsuit provided. Allow about €180 (GetYourGuide price as of 28 September 2026).
Who it is for, and who it is not for
Who it is for: board sport fans, former windsurfers or surfers who want to try the trendy sport. Less suited if you want an activity guaranteed on a fixed date: no wind, no lesson. No reviews on GetYourGuide yet. Languages: English, Spanish, Catalan.
If the wind does not show up, the same school rents kayaks and paddleboards on the same beach, so your morning is not wasted.
