The experience that awaits you
How it works: a coach picks you up at your hotel in Ibiza (58 pick-up points, from Santa Eulària to Sant Antoni) and drops you at the port, a fast boat takes you to La Savina in 35 minutes, and a standard bike awaits you on arrival for the day. Back by ferry and then coach to your hotel. Allow about 9 hours in total.
Once there, you are free. A bike is the right choice for Formentera: in summer, motor vehicle access to Ses Illetes is restricted, and the island is flat, with cycle paths between La Savina, Sant Francesc and the beaches.

This is not a guided tour
Let us be clear about what you are buying: logistics, not a guide. Recent customer reviews (2.9/5 from 5 reviews as of 28 September 2026) mainly criticise the lack of guidance: the “guide” hands over the tickets and a map to collect the bikes, with no commentary on the island. Meals and drinks are not included.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
Who it is for: travellers staying in Ibiza without a car who do not want to deal with buses, ferry times and bike hire. Less suited if you expect a guided tour, or if you are comfortable organising things: by booking the ferry yourself and hiring a bike in La Savina, you stay in control of the timings. It is all explained in our ferry guide.
A simple route for the day: La Savina, the salt flats and Ses Illetes in the morning before the heat, lunch in Sant Francesc Xavier, then Cala Saona in the late afternoon if your legs are still up to it (about ten kilometres from La Savina). Take water: there is little shade on the paths.
- Duration: about 9 hours
- Included: hotel pick-up, return fast ferry, standard bike, return to the hotel
- Not included: food and drinks
- Season: last dates at the end of October in 2026
- Bring: water, sunscreen, swimsuit
To organise the crossing yourself, follow our Ibiza-Formentera ferry guide, then choose your stops in our guide to Formentera beaches.
