The experience that awaits you
For kitesurfers who are already independent: hourly rental of a kite, board, helmet and vest at Whitesand Surf, at the end of Ses Illetes beach. Supervision is from the beach, with a safety boat.
Illetes is the island’s go-to spot: you ride on one side of the peninsula or the other depending on the wind, on shallow, clear water.
For independent riders only
You need to know how to rig, launch, land and get back to the school base on your own. If you are still learning, take a lesson with an instructor. Check the wind conditions with the school before booking. About €60 an hour (GetYourGuide price as of 28 September 2026).
Who it is for, and who it is not for
Who it is for: experienced kitesurfers on holiday without their gear. Less suited to complete beginners, who cannot rent without a lesson. No reviews on GetYourGuide yet.
Remember the Ses Salines Natural Park entry fee if you come by car or scooter: motorised access to Illetes is charged in season.
